Ram 1500 Ecodiesel GDE Hot Tune Review 2
I know its been a long wait but I wanted to ensure that the tune held up to its reputation over the winter months in Canada. The GDE updated tune is an excellent product and I still highly recommend this ECM upgrade to any Ecodiesel owner out there (whether a Ram or Jeep product). I go over some information on the new tune and answer some questions that were posted in the comment section of my first review. Please forgive me when I mention the freezing of my "DPF nozzle". I meant to say "DEF nozzle"...I am not sure where my head was at when I recorded this video. I was completely surprised by the performance of this car! I wanted to compare this vehicle to many other cars during the review but was unable to think of any comparable cars in its segment. Now when I look back, a strong competitor of the 200S would be Cadillac's ATS. Heyyy, I really enjoyed this video. I was soooooo informing. I bought my wife a 2015 Chrysler 200 S, and I learned a lot that I didn't know. It is truly a great vehicle...she only has around 70k miles on it. Please continue to do more, I know I'm like 6 years late Lol...take care!: )
Mv,also designed this 4 gen.boat motor,,before the Gm.euroCaddie,&before Fiat Chrysler bought it out,..they also designed the 2.8 diesel Isuzu Thai motor now in the Colorado..
I found my Forester, used of course. The dealer in North Bay sent the car to auction, and we purchased the car within walking distance from our home. Your review of this 2015 Subaru was even more detailed than the already extensive manual Subaru provides! We also learned, from friends in New Zealand, that the pronunciation, at least 'down under,' is that the emphasis is placed on the A, as in subAru. Thank you for such a comprehensive review of our new Subbie! (yet another NZ term!)

Damn I'm also considering this car as my next vehicle. How is the issue of this mini reliability in your country? Is it expensive and difficult to maintain?
@@novaltomy8336 In 2 years (the vehicule is almost 7 years old) I have changed one valve thing (evap i think?) and the OEM battery :P Proper oil changes are the key!

Thank you for your good advices, the review is very useful for the Eco diesel owners, definitely I will go for GDE tuning which I already had it in my old Liberty CRD without technical issues!

great video! my 2020 3500 has now sat at the dealer for month and a half with a def pump failure, apparently 400 units across north america has same problem. they gave me a rental. considering doing a delete and be done with this problem.
So is this a limited the nicest model. Or platinum medium level
Oh damn, that explains why my coolant level drops!! I have been notified of a recall for the EGR cooler by FCA and the dealership where I bought the truck, so I will be taking it to get fixed ASAP.

Did you use E85?

Has any locksmiths successfully done an all my cars keys on 2015 Canadian legacy? What all is involved. Been told the SCU and body control module need to be replaced in order to program new keys- is this true? It has a 4D83 transponder chip.

Hey Bud I have a Green Diesel tune on my 2015 Ram with a dpf ------ you know what !!!! and the banks intake manifold and a egr ------ you know what again lol !!!!!! and man I tell yah the truck runs perfect and strong like how you describe in your video but with out the YOU KNOW WHAT !!!!!! LOL !!!!!!

How does it compare top the SFT Sofa King tune?
i have the lilimited addition 2015 new from the show room and everything was great up intell 2018 with just under 36 thousand miles . the Engine light came on . i had to take it into the shop 5 different times all because the light came on .
How reliable are the 200s?
I bought a used 2015c, 3.6v6 (top of the line, fully loaded with everything possible) It's never left me stranded, however, the transmission does not like it if you get on the gas and then need to let off for whatever reason, it has a spot (4th to 5th gear, around 45mph where the transmission will make a thump sound) If you drive it easy, the transmission does a pretty good job, though. It had 38,000 miles, one owner prior to me getting it. I'm at 65,350 miles now (june2018-june 2020 ownership for me) Had to replace one tire pressure sensor(was covered under limited warranty) Otherwise, just the normal oil change/tires replacement Brakes are still good Overall, for the price and luxurious features you get, probably won't find another vehicle with the same for $13,000, like I paid

Where did you did this tune done ?
It seems the GDE is no longer available for the Ecodiesel. The EGR is the latest recall from FCA for engine fires. My 2015 Big Horn Ecodiesel is currently at the dealer. No parts available. This is another debacle for Ram Ecodiesel owners!
Ive got the 2019 se 3.6l its god awful gas mileage average is about 10 miles per gallon. Maybe the engine gotta get broke in 1st idk
Yea around 15k that's when u see fair gas mileage
